Delete your account and data
This page is for parents or guardians who want to delete a Bible Buddies account after they no longer have access to the app.
Request deletion
Email bukunmiakinfenwa@gmail.com from the email address used for your Bible Buddies account. Use the subject line Bible Buddies account deletion request.
Please include the parent account email address. We may ask you to verify ownership before completing the request.
What will be deleted
We delete the parent account, child profiles, profile preferences, playback progress, favourites, memory-verse progress and quiz activity associated with the account. We also ask service providers processing this data for Bible Buddies to delete applicable associated data, subject to their own legal and technical requirements.
Subscriptions
Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it with the store you subscribed through, so you are not charged again.
- Apple: cancel in your Apple Account settings. Apple holds the payment records.
- Google Play: cancel under Payments & subscriptions in the Google Play app. Google holds the payment records.
How to delete in the app
In Bible Buddies, open Profile, unlock the Parent Area, choose Privacy and account, then select Delete account permanently.
Timing and retained information
We aim to complete verified requests promptly. We may retain only the minimum information required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or to resolve a request, and will explain this if it applies.
